A study about you and your experiences

Sexual practice, drug use, mental health, friendship and connection affect all of us in Aotearoa/New Zealand’s gay community, and beyond. Not all experiences are positive and our community can feel the burden of these issues too frequently.

We want to understand the experiences of you and your friends and how this has affected your decisions over time. By participating we can find out what is important to you, what can help us be safer when exploring the world and how these behaviours can affect other parts of our lives, both good and bad.

To do this right, we need all sorts of gay and bisexual men to participate. If you have never taken drugs or take drugs all the time; if you feel connected to gay community life, or have no gay friends – your voice is important. Hearing from a range of people will ensure that our community organisations and services can respond to everyone’s needs.

The survey is confidential and will take around 45 minutes to complete.
